Short and direct. The manager was not friendly at all during the whole interview, honesty, the manager has highlighted all the power over the team, which is so old fashion, it was possible to check that there is no understanding of team working. Also it was mentioned the funerable points of the department. Overall no a great experience

A well structured interview with the opportunity to ask questions at the end. Questions varied and covered your own personal attributes, skills and awareness of the firms work. Interviewed by two members of the department (both solicitors) who were very friendly and welcoming.

Why do you want to work in that department specifically?
Was put forward for the interview through a recruitment agency. The interview was with a partner, for around 40-45 minutes. Overall it was an enjoyable experience as the partner took the time to explain, in some detail, aspects of the firm and department from her experience of them.

A fairly standard mix of competency and motivational based questions: 'Why TLT'; 'Why this department'; 'How do you motivate yourself'; 'What is one thing you/your friends would change about yourself'. If applying for a regional office, be prepared to demonstrate your desire to work in that city.
Was a very casual and positive experience. The interviewers were lovely and made me feel comfortable. They asked me about my past experience, what I intend on doing and a few questions about my comfort level in working with a team.
I got the job.
