I got a call to set an interview very shortly after applying for a Marketing and Public Relations Associate position. They seemed nice and committed to go on with the process. When I arrived at their office, I waited for nearly an hour over the scheduled time of the interview. This would normally be just unpleasant, not much of a problem, but when I finally got the chance to talk to the recruiter, I understood why the delay - they were interviewing dozens and dozens of people, and taking their time trying to convince them that a sales job is so much better than the position they were there trying to interview for. Discussions with my recruiter reveled they were not at all planning on hiring personnel for the marketing or P. R. department, but their goal was to grow their sales team. After just a few minutes of chatting and trying to discourage me from applying for a marketing job in their company, the guy realized he is going no where with me and he sent me on my way with a "don't call us, we'll call you" type of line. I never heard one word regarding the actual job description while I was there. They're cryptic, deceiving, eluding and overall dishonest. I wouldn't trust them for anything.
