I applied for the Executive Assistant role and was invited to complete an initial video interview within 24 hours. I expected the virtual pre-screening interview to focus on my background and experience. However, the first question was to confirm the salary, which was significantly lower than I expected. I was honestly shocked, as it seems unrealistic for someone to work 40 hours for such low pay. The following questions were mainly to confirm details about my previous employment, to be exact the employer names only, which I found unusual since this information was clearly outlined in my CV. It felt as though my application had not been reviewed thoroughly. Overall, the experience felt like a waste of time. Based on some of the reviews I had read, I expected a more professional process. Unfortunately, this initial stage did not meet those expectations.
