      Business Development Associate Interview

      Nov 19, 2017
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at TapMango in Nov 2017

      Interview

The other reviews here are quite accurate. 10-minute scripted interview questions about your resume with a cold call roleplay at the end. I didn't read the reviews here beforehand so the roleplay took me by surprise and I flustered... They even cut me off partway so that was pretty awkward.

      Interview

Applied online and had a quick 10 minute interview with an HR rep. Asked basic questions about experience and then had a sales role play (cold call). Was not super prepared for the role play but did ok. The rep said I did great and to expect a call for the second round but it didn't happen.

      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at TapMango (Toronto, ON) in Sep 2017

      Interview

3 separate interviews - All are pretty long and boring as the interviews as very standard and dont extract any value from the individual. Typical scripted questions. First with a HR rep on the phone. Second, in-person with another HR rep too and final one is with the sales manager. Makes you do a cold call to random companies knowing that you lack the expertise and knowledge about the product hence their training is a 3 month long process but they judge you based on just that one phone call. They said they have alot to evaluate you from but it is not true, it is just the cold call that matters to see if you can seal a deal or atleast generate interest.
