I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Teads (New York, NY)
Interview
A recruiter reached out to me to explore new opportunities. Phone screen followed by meeting in person with two team members. The first team member primarily focused on the supposed level of difficulty and how she recently was promoted and I would be supporting her. She disregarded the fact that I had already been doing the job I was interviewing for at another company. The second team member was only present for 10 min as he had another meeting. I never heard back from the recruiter or either team member. Not a positive experience. HR should communicate standard interview questions as well as making sure people are actually available.
Thanks for your feedback. We are always trying to improve the candidate experience and will take this into consideration when hiring for new roles. We wish you the best of luck in your search.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Teads (New York, NY) in Mar 2018
Interview
For the Sales Planner role at Teads, the interview process begins with a phone screening with HR. This could last anywhere between 20-45 minutes (depending on how detailed you decide to make it). The usual questions are asked - why Teads?, why digital advertising?, any relative past experiences? Very straight forward.
I was then asked to come in for an in-person interview to meet with the Lead Sales Planner and a Sales Planner. I was asked how I could see myself excelling in the role, strengths, weaknesses, if I wanted to pursue sales as a career, etc. Everyone was super friendly and the office is very welcoming!
I then came back in for the final round of the in-person interviews to meet with the Global Head of Marketing. This was by far the most intense part of the process. Be prepared for questions relating to the company, be able to pitch Teads, and make sure to understand how your current role responsibilities could translate over to the Sales Planner role at Teads.
As a final step you will be asked to put together a media plan and proposal based off of a mock RFP. I was given a couple of days to complete this.
Overall the process was extremely straight forward and explained in detail. I felt at ease throughout the entire process and always knew who I was meeting with next whenever I came in for the in-person interviews. My interview process lasted about two weeks total.
