The virtual interview took place one on one with the hiring manager. It was a relaxed conversation about our backgrounds to see if the tasks and my background and interests align well. The next interview round would have been together with a senior team member either in person or virtual. However, it became clear that they were looking for a more experienced candidate, especially regarding technical skills.
