I applied in-person. I interviewed at Tecovas (Las Vegas, NV) in Jul 2026
Interview
I recently interviewed at the Tecovas location in Las Vegas and had a incredibly frustrating experience. I showed up completely prepared—dressed professionally, answered all behavioral questions perfectly, and asked sharp, engaging questions of my own. I did everything entirely by the book.
In fact, the manager explicitly praised me during the session, telling me that my interview skills were "on point" and "amazing." The energy and feedback gave every indication that a job offer was a direct next step.
Instead, after waiting for an update, I had to call them myself today just to be hit with a generic rejection. When following up, it became incredibly clear that they already had candidates picked out and offered the job to before or during this process.
It is completely slimy and unprofessional for a brand to drag external candidates through the emotional and physical effort of an interview just to tick a corporate compliance box or fulfill a fake hiring quota. If you already have your internal or preferred candidates chosen, do not waste people’s time, energy, and gas money. Totally disrespectful to job seekers. Avoid wasting your time here.

Question 1
My availability and if I was able to work weekends too
Applied via Indeed and received an invitation for a call interview. The call interview was easy and consisted of all behavioral questions. Then had in person training. Loved working at Tecovas

Question 1
example: What if you come across an unpleasant costumer?
First was a short phone interview followed by an in person interview. Then got called about the job offer and was very easy to navigate. Onboarding was a lot but it was fairly organized.
