For the new applicants, trust your gut, and if needed, please read this CAREFULLY for your consideration.
The interview process was smooth at the beginning. For the chronology, I applied for the opening role as Digital Content Executive at TEH Group. Then, there's an invitation from Mr Ruli to attend the initial interview together with Jeffrey, via Google Meet, for the role of Social Media Specialist (Event Marketing). The session closed with the information that there will be a second stage within this week, if my application is shortlisted.
The next day, I received an email to finish the task regarding an event, namely Nexus Indonesia 2026, as the 2-Month Work Plan Proposal, held from 4-6 February 2026. Never in my entire interviews did, ask for further work before the final decision of "Accepted" or "Rejected". They ask me to create a proposal to do their homework. From this moment, I got a strange feeling and read carefully the company reviews of TEH Group and Triumph Eminent Hub before working on the task assigned. Then I realised, I need to withdraw my application as I found a bunch of negative reviews recently.
I made the decision to Withdraw my application Respectfully, and trust my gut, praying for the best.
Another red flag as a sign, when Mr Ruli followed up on the email through WhatsApp around 7.30 PM Jakarta Time, while I had already sent a response to the task, that I withdraw my application respectfully. This is a valid sign that the company culture is not recommended, and I already made the right choice to step down.
Then another proof was shown when Mr Ruli sent me a message at 4 AM Jakarta Time, as he had already received my withdrawal response, with "Ok". Another proof of bad feelings.
Therefore, for any applicants, please think twice before submitting your application to these companies (TEH Group / Triumph Eminent Group). Trust your gut, pray before you search or apply to any other job. Salary is not the important one, but the company culture is.
I don't recommend anyone, especially Fresh Graduates, to spend their time in this type of company culture.
Hopefully, this could be a lesson learned in a future recruitment process.
