The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Tennessee State Government in Oct 2010
Interview
I applied online through the Human Resources site, had an open application for a job of that type. I was contacted via email, accepted the opportunity to interview. During the interview I was asked selected questions by the 3 interviewers, and was asked at the end of the interview to role play a scenario. I didn't get the job, but the interviewing experience itself was rewarding enough. The role-playing with the panel made it worth my time to interview

Interview
Had a sit down interview after the initial "survey" interview. A series of 10 behavioral questions with about 3-4 questions connected to each. A panel of three people. 1 hr and 2 from case management depts. interviewer read all of the 3-4 questions at one time. Not much eye contact. No questions about your experiences beyond the initial "10" questions. Not too impressed with the process. Interviewed today. HR said it takes 1 week to decide.
