I applied via an agency, and the first step was a telephone interview. This was conducted by HR and the overall experience was very positive. The conversation was informal and lasted around 30 minutes. This part allowed Berkeley to assess whether I would fit well within their team and gave me the chance to ask any questions.
Part 2 of the process was a competency based interview conducted by the FC and HR. I was asked questions around my experience and my approach to certain situations. This was not a daunting experience and was in fact rather pleasant. I was made to feel very comfortable and built good rapport with both HR and the FC.
Part 3 of the process was based around my approach to a case study and an interview with the FC and partner. This was slightly more formal and was asked questions about what I was looking for and why Berkeley in particular.
At Each stage I felt comfortable enough to ask any questions that I had regarding the role and the environment at Berkeley.
On the whole a very pleasant and easy experience.
