Interview
If you are invited to interview with the Boston Foundation or any of its affiliates, be prepared to run into the brick wall that is TBF HR. I have interviewed for multiple positions within the organization and every time I am met with the same bizarre phone screen. In my most recent interview, I was asked "What is this for again?". From there, things did not improve. Expect to be asked vague questions that are not even loosely connected to the role that you are applying for by somebody that has legitimately zero knowledge of the role or its place within the organization. Also, expect to be prodded for objective answers that will fit neatly into the spreadsheet that you can hear the interviewer typing into rather than thoughtful ones.
It is absolutely baffling that an organization that is purportedly committed to promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Greater Boston hasn't figured out a more inclusive methodology for screening applicants. If the organization is truly committed to being a welcoming environment for folks of differing perspectives and backgrounds, they need to rethink their hiring practices ASAP.

Interview
I had two rounds of interviews with a prospective coworker and HR. Not a challenging process. By the time you reach the interview stage, they are probably most interested in getting a feel for your personality and to ascertain how well you may fit into the organizational cultural compared to other candidates.
