After applying, I was requested to submit a video recording answering 3 interview questions about myself and my interest in the Front. I had 2 in-person interviews after that. One with the hiring manager, the owner, and another analyst. The second was a follow-up with the two other junior analysts. I made it down to the final two candidates, but was not selected because I had Tableau experience, and the other candidate had more PowerBI experience. Fair enough. I thought the interviews went well, however I did not appreciate how I was communicated with throughout the experience. I was told after the final interview that I would hear back in 2 weeks. After following up, a week later I received a template email from HR telling me I wasn't selected so I had to email the hiring manager directly for feedback. Maybe I have unfair expectations but I would think after a candidate went through 3 interviews and made it to the final round you could call to let them know your decision. At the very least give them a personalized email with feedback on what led to the decision. However, it sounds like I dodged a bullet. I have since heard the hiring manager and most of the analytics team has left due to a toxic work environment.
