Recruiter randomly reached out to me with what seemed like a position at the organization. After getting there and filling out paperwork in a room with other people, I quickly learned what was going on. The recruiter was late to meeting with me and once we finally did start the meeting, she acted as if I had received the information on the position they were trying to place me in. They’re using deceptive practices to lure in college grads for entry level positions that supposedly have upward mobility. The recruiter even admitted to not knowing if there would be any upward mobility in the position she was trying to place me in. Furthermore, she seemed too busy to engage in any small talk as she needed to get me out the revolving door and bring the next scammed person in. To make the experience even worse, I never heard back from them about any positions.
I’m not against being recruited for temp jobs, but just be honest in what you are doing. Deceptive practices speak poorly of the business. You can see how this company replied to a former employee’s review on here to give you a good idea about them.
