Started with a written application, then a long wait period, written assignment, wait period, panel interview... radio silence. Never heard anything despite follow-up emails to multiple team members.
It's a huge red flag for me when organizations purport a commitment to a community of equity, collaboration, and thoughtful engagement... but then ghost candidates after hours of interviews and data tasks. It shows blatant disrespect for people's time and effort.
In my experience, how you treat candidates directly relates to how you treat your staff. I'm so glad I received another (better) offer while I was (forever) waiting on IG to respond.
