I applied online. I interviewed at The Jackson Laboratory (Sacramento, CA) in Sep 2017
Interview
The interviewer was very polite. However she did cut it short when I revealed i have experience with rodent husbandry because I own a chinchilla. She informed me that the scent of the chin would basically upset the mice. This place seemed like a great place to work with a nice benefits package and a great opportunity. Sadly it didn't work out for me. If you have pets, you probably won't get hired. She said a lot of animal scents could interfere including reptiles. Opportunity missed.
