Without warning, this was a group interview. It consisted of a member of the staff asking the interviewees to vocalize why they wanted to work for this company none of us knew anything about and telling us to pitch ourselves to her in front of the others without knowing anything else about the position.

The questions were dull and unimportant, as this is yet another 'network marketing' (Multi-Level Marketing) scheme, designed around hiring people to make money for you to siphon.
