After submitting my initial application, I had a standard 1st round interview via Zoom. Two days later, I was invited back for second round with the CEO. Twice, I was asked to reschedule, and I was as flexible as my calendar allowed. For the later interview appointment, they cancelled on me 10 minutes before my scheduled interview. A week passed and they did not send me an alternative time to speak that fit both of our schedules. When I sent a follow up email to inquire about my next round interview, I was promptly sent an email saying that “they decided to pursue another candidate for the role.” Overall, the experience left a bad taste in my mouth due to the lack of professionalism. An interview is meant for the company AND the applicant to woo each other. If this is how The Mixx treats people they’re trying to win over, then I am grateful to see this early on. Best of luck to the person they hire.
