This relates to The Social Change Nest. I am starting to leave reviews for companies following my interview experiences and given how difficult it is out there for us jobseekers currently.
This one was a pretty disheartening experience. It took just under one month to hear back about my application. I was invited to an interview, which was fine overall, however I was told a date I would hear back from them (now several weeks ago) and have never heard anything since. I appreciate that they’re a start-up, but nobody is too busy to spend five minutes on a quick rejection email politely thanking the candidate for attending and at least offering some brief feedback. For those of us applying for endless roles and facing daily disappointment, to not even be worthy of a template email following an interview is quite a sting. I was genuinely excited about the role and the company, but I wouldn’t apply here again. I feel like there would be communication issues and perhaps their high turnover/fixed-term contracts speaks for itself?
