I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at The Y (YMCA) (Durham, NC) in Aug 2024
Interview
The manager reached out to me, and I was given both a phone call and a Zoom meeting. The conversations were very easy-going, and my previous experience was respected as part of the hiring process. There was no mock personal training session required; I have experience with this elsewhere, and felt it was artificial, so I was happy that it was not required.
The first round was a talk with the manager, and then they wanted me to show they a strength training class. Also, we went through some basic Information about my certification.
