Majority of questions are scenario based. Use your customer service skills and knowledge to guide you.
Casual wear, come as you are, just be decent. There are usually 2 interviewers. Be positive and enthusiastic.

- Describe a time you had to really "sell" a membership
- What was a conflict you had with a member/co-worker and how did you resolve it?
It was a phone call screening and then was told to come meet in-person for an interview and the questions were pretty standard. Follow up was about two weeks or more.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Y (YMCA) (Phoenix, AZ) in May 2015
Interview
The interview was very friendly and inviting. There were no trick questions, they just wanted to assess my abilities. They explained what the organization is about and the direction they are trying to head in. The hiring process was quick and easy as well. I started the following week and was trained on site
