I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at The Y (YMCA) (Oklahoma City, OK) in Dec 2011
Interview
I worked for another ymca at the time and asked about my work experience there. I was asked about if I found anything annoying about my current position. My aquatics background. If there was a certain age group that I would like to work with. The main question about my swimming background is the type of drill that I would use to teach someone how to swim.
Simple, informal, tour facilities, check certifications. I had to wait a while for interviewer to be ready to see me but once they were ready, the interview was simple and quick. As long as I passed background checks, I had a job offer.
