It was a pretty standard process. I applied via email after seeing a posting on my university's job board website, and they contacted me for an interview a week or so later. I spoke with three editors over the phone, and they all seemed fairly friendly. It was a very comfortable and natural flowing interview. They contacted me a couple weeks later with the offer.
