I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Thesis (Portland, OR) in May 2021
Interview
I had 3 interviews total. First one was with the recruiter and it took around 30 minutes. Second interview was with a designer director and the third interview was with a panel of 6 people including the DD.
I wouldn't say the interview was any less difficult than any other interview, but it helped that everyone who interviewed me had no ego whatsoever and was in no way intimidating.
The whole interview process was about 2 weeks long and they offered me a position roughly 3 days later.

Tell me about your journey and how you got to where you are today
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Thesis in Sep 2014
Interview
I sent a simple but catchy email to their general inquiry email. I attached my resume and gave them my website link. I heard back in two days and set up a time to talk. We met at a coffee house and went to the back to be more private. The CD was very straightforward friendly and explained quite a bit about their culture and how important hiring the 'right' person is. He was barely interested in my resume, only cared about my work and personality and thought process. They receive over 400 applications over a couple of months and only meet with a dozen or so, it's tough to get their attention, you need to have great work. They have a very small studio, and are picky about bringing on new people unless they are sure they need them. The interview went well overall, I sent a thank you email after we parted ways. Haven't heard back yet, it's been 4 days.
