Good interview, felt like a blue sky discussion of what I would do in the role with lots of support to brainstorm. Sounded like there would be a lot of freedom to design the role. Ultimately decided I wanted a role with more guidance so didn’t pursue further.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked some programs/products/campaigns I would implement to advance the relevant issue.

Interview
I applied online on October 19, 2023. I was contacted via email on October 30 for a virtual interview with the director. The interview was an hour long with the director asking many follow up questions to her previous questions. I was told the role was looking to be filled by January because the current policy advisor was leaving at the end of this year. Next steps would be a meeting with upper management and then a written 3 hour test. I was told I would be updated on the status of the role since the director mentioned a previous candidate had already made it to the second round by now. I did not hear after the interview until I sent a follow up email inquiry about the status since the job posting was still listed. It took almost an entire month to hear back from the organization on any status.

Interview
I did a technical skills test, a phone interview, and an in-person interview. The skills test was timed. People were nice and engaging, but when I ultimately didn't get the job, I wasn't notified in a timely manner and found out on twitter.
