I applied online. I interviewed at Ticket Monster (New York, NY) in Apr 2017
Interview
Applied online, got an e-mail for an in person interview. Was probably one of the worst/most awkward interviews I have ever had the displeasure of being on. Waited about fifteen minutes passed my scheduled interview time, which is no issue. But then the CEO literally paid no attention as I answered questions and proceeded to have a full-blown, I suppose super interesting text conversation the entire time. When he actually did look up from his phone, he interrupted my answers with another question, or some random comment. I pretty much decided half way through the interview that this was not the place for me and assume they probably felt the same way.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Ticket Monster (New York, NY) in Apr 2014
Interview
I sent in an application (resume, cover letter) and was emailed by the CEO of the company. There was an in-person interview with the CEO, and I also met the Director of Sales and Director of Operations. The interview was 20-30 minutes long and consisted of typical questions about your resume, past experience, what you know about the company, and why you want to work there. Later, the CEO told me he had asked some other interns to pick up the phone and sell their product to a potential client/partner.
