I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at TikTok (Dublin, Dublin) in Apr 2021
Interview
Second interview: 20 min Zoom meeting - recruiter from ByteDance. The interviewer was really serious and direct. But sincerely wait 5 min for I set up the Zoom that wasn’t working properly. I was expecting more deep questions about my experience and the company, but I got some repeated questions from the first interview.
Could you tell me how “you would solve” or “you did solve” a complicated situation at work? A situation that you did not agree with the company's attitudes/ decisions ?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TikTok in Oct 2025
Interview
The interviews were structured as two case study interviews with operation leads and then a behavioral interview with the head of department. They tend to move fast (all interviews scheduled within 2 weeks)
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at TikTok in Nov 2023
Interview
The procedure was largely automatized, yet the mismatch orchestrated by the talent acquisition team between the candidate and job position resulted in productiveness. Ended up, I was not being shortlisted for the 2nd interview without any reason.

Question 1
This is a high-ranking position that doesn't involve managing a team, unlike your current job where you are a manager. How comfortable would you be transitioning into this role without having a team to lead?
I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at TikTok (Mountain View, CA)
Interview
It seemed very unorganized. The interviews themselves were a little inconsistent. Response times varied from weeks to a month. Overall, it wasn't bad. I just wished they were more communicative about where I was in the interview process.
