I received an Online Assessment (OA) as part of the interview process, and after completing it, I was scheduled for an interview. The interviewer was from ByteDance’s Beijing office. During the interview, they asked if I could speak Chinese, likely to assess whether I would be able to effectively communicate with colleagues and stakeholders in the Beijing office, where Mandarin is commonly spoken.

Interview
Two technical interviews.
One regarding test plan for video streaming applications. Asked to write a test plan.
One leetcode medium on matrix with behavioral questions like when did you take additional responsibilities.
The Interview was short they ask a leatcode easy but do not let that fool you make sure to answer it in the way that they expect you to since this is a QA role and not a regular software engineer.
