I applied online. I interviewed at Tinder in Mar 2019
Interview
The interviewers were snotty and condescending. I explained a project I worked on to show my interest in the dating space and one of them just drawled, "That's.... ambitious" in response. Seems like they just wanted a naive student who was awestruck at Tinder's name and lots of cheap labor. 7 interns, no entry-level design hires, and no plans to hire entry-level designers in the future... red flag.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Tinder
Interview
The interview process was shorter than other places. It only consisted of 3 total stages. Overall very quick and efficient. First was the recruiter screening, then a 1:1 with the hiring manager, and finally a panel interview with cross-functional team members where I presented peices from my portfolio.
