call + homework with Next.js
my recommendation (and other reviews say the same) - do not waste your time on interviews and test tasks from this company. the most they can give you is a standard template letter in which they’re very sorry that you didn’t impress them.
they gave the task to build a NextJS application and 3 hours to do it. I did all the requirements from the task, recorded a video with a review — I received absolutely nothing except an email message with the default text. apparently, they did not even launch the application for review.
the task is this: you’re given a sketch on nextjs with a Makefile (lol), and you need to add Stripe there, a couple of tables with drizzle orm, an admin panel that can show everything beautifully and make refunds.

Interview
Take home assessment with vague requirements. Given a Next.js app and was told to spend no more than 3 hours with a highlight to "cut scope" in order to stay within 3 hour limit. Rejected with no feedback after the take home assessment.

Interview
Starts off good but the take-home assignment has vague requirements. They ask for you to scope down and to stay within a 2 hour limit. You are suppose to know what to scope down without any guidance. If I had to do it again, I'd treat them like a stakeholder and ask them to rank the task based on priorities and to provide a list of must-have's vs nice-to-haves.
