I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Tradition Energy (Stamford, CT)
Interview
Initially found the position through our college job boards.
First stage: Phone interview to verify some things and actually make sure you're not a total nutter and to ask some very basic questions: how you found them, your self-summary, a resume question or two.
Second Stage: In-office interview with the person directly responsible for your position, ie the person you'll be working directly for. I wound up interviewing for several positions when I came in.
Third Stage: Interview with Managing Director. I was asked to submit a writing sample following this.
Final: Phone call with (or without) an offer.

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Tradition Energy (Houston, TX) in Jan 2025
Interview
7 interviews over the course of 3 months, met with many members of the trading desk, was a pretty smooth process other than the length it took, the people were nice and the interviews weren't challenging, following the last interview, I didn't hear anything and did not receive a response from the hiring manager, and had to reach out to my contact in hr to get confirmation that I was not selected for the position.
