      Call Center Representative Interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Tree Rings (Phoenix, AZ) in Jun 2015

      Interview

You're first given a standard application where you must supply the typical details even though they already have your resume. You're also given other paperwork including a several page stack where you are giving them the right to do an extensive background check on you. I tried to read it all but let's face it - it's a TON of legal looking jargon - important small print stuff - but if you don't sign it and give them permission to thoroughly explore your existence on this earth, you don't move forward in the process. I feel this is extreme - especially for a call center rep position (you're not applying for a job with the FBI for Pete's sake!) Then you also have some questions to complete online and some of it has to do with testing your clerical and web skills. They print that info out and send it along with your paperwork to the people who will be interviewing you. I had a professional and typical interview where you are asked the standard questions about your abilities and experience and some role playing happened. *Everyone I met or saw seemed very nice indeed. It seemed like an organization you'd like to be a part of.

      Question 1

One question had to do with how you handled a customer who was not sure whether to proceed or if the service was needed.
