I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tremendous (De Zoom) in May 2022
Interview
I was incredibly impressed with how quickly the process moved with Tremendous. My first conversation with an HR representative came hours after I applied for the role, and I had an offer in less than 2 weeks with multiple rounds of interviews.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Last round founder's fit interview had some toughies -- "what's a popular opinion you don't agree with?"
The people were nice and I felt like we had great conversations throughout the process. However, I was denied due to “not asking enough questions about what they do” which left me very confused because I asked questions at the end of every interview.
They have you go through three rounds of an onsite process and even if you perform well there’s no guarantee of an offer. What frustrated me most is that there was no intro call with the recruiter beforehand to set expectations, discuss the company, or understand what they were really looking for. Going into three rounds without that context put me at a disadvantage from the start.
It felt like they were looking for a very specific type of candidate but never communicated that until after the fact. Overall the process felt unbalanced and the feedback didn’t match the experience I had in the interviews
The process was fairly easy and entails the following:
HR screening
Take home assessment
Hiring Manager
Team interview (virtual)
Even though they decided to move forward with other candidates, I can tell this is a good company to work for.
