The interview process lasted about 4 weeks, which was a lot longer than I anticipated considering they said they were trying to fill the position quickly. I met with the hiring team that consisted of 4 people with an additional interview with someone higher up on the food chain. I was told that out of the candidates interviewing, I was the unanimous choice to move forward. In one of the interviews, I inquired about reviews I read about the lack of diversity and the interviewer seemed uncomfortable when I asked what they planned to do about it. She informed me that the company is in 20+ countries which makes it diverse and the focus right now is to get things in order so they can go public. After that interview, I was informed that there was a new candidate in the running for the position and ultimately, they decided to go with that person.
