I was contacted by Jono on LinkedIn about an exciting opportunity at Troop. An introductory call was quickly scheduled for the next day. During our conversation, Jono provided a clear and detailed overview of the role, the company, and their mission, which gave me a great first impression of both the team and the organization.
Later that same day, my first technical interview was scheduled with Rudo. I had the chance to demo a previous project I had worked on, and Rudo asked thoughtful technical questions throughout the session. I really appreciated this interview style—it felt much more relevant and engaging than traditional algorithm-heavy interviews, and allowed for a more natural conversation around real-world engineering work.
The next step was a follow-up technical interview with Naas. We continued to dive into some technical topics, and I was also given plenty of time to ask questions of my own. It felt like a two-way conversation, which made the experience even more valuable.
Following the interviews, I received an offer and moved forward with the onboarding process. Throughout every stage, communication was clear and timely. I always knew what to expect next, and I never felt left in the dark.
Overall, the entire process was incredibly well-structured and professional. From the initial outreach to the final onboarding steps, everything was handled with care and attention. I would confidently give the interview experience at Troop a 5-star rating.
