It was a screening interview. Most of the interview was an overview of the company and their upcoming project and team, which they were hiring for. The interviewer asked a couple questions about how I found out about the job, what made me interested in the position and the work, and a couple really simple questions related to the role. They then asked if I had any questions, and my expected salary, and then I was told that another person would be in touch about a panel interview within the next few days. I was not contacted by them, and 3 weeks later I received an email telling me I am no longer being considered for the role.
