I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at True Food Kitchen (Jacksonville, FL) in Jul 2021
Interview
Very easy to schedule interview. It’s all through an automated text system. The bartending position however, is not actually a posting for a bartender. They expect you to start out as a server and work your way up. I understand their reasoning (they specialize in making food for people with dietary restrictions, drinks included so they need you to study and learn about it before hopping right behind the bar) but they should definitely make it a little more clear in the job posting for experienced bartenders. It would save a lot of time if serving and working your way back to bartending is not what you’re looking for.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at True Food Kitchen (Bethesda, MD) in Sep 2025
Interview
A brief introductory interview with the lead manager was followed by four training shifts and a bartender test. The bartender test was very straightforward, and you were allowed support in the process.
Interview questions [1]
