      Analyst Interview

      Feb 20, 2022
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Two Labs

      Interview

Full disclaimer: I did not apply to this job. Recruiters from the company reached out to me based on my resume. I was scheduled for several rounds of interviews and ended up doing 5 different interviews with 7 different people. I received the same basic interview questions over and over (tell me about yourself.. how do you stay organized..) several of the interviewers asked me why I was looking to leave my current job,(again, I didn't apply to this job so technically I wasn't) so that left me feeling as if the recruiter had not been properly communicating with the employees. When I would ask questions about the position I received little insight into the actual job or why I should want it. I mostly received vague descriptions of tasks. Many of the employees hinted at it being kind of a difficult position due to the fact it was a new department and just getting it's footing in the company. They also told me upfront there was no timeline to fill the position and would wait for the right candidate, which was important to me given that I work over 50 hours a week and was extremely busy being that it was the end of the year, however, I inferred from later interviews they were rushing to fill the position because the department was struggling to keep up with demand. In the end, they didn't totally succeed in selling it to me due to a lack of clarity about their vision for the role and their expectations for the job. Worst of all, after accommodating all 7 of their interviews during the busiest time of the year, they didn't even end up making an offer so overall it was a waste of time. I do think they have potential but their interview process is lacking.

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Two Labs

      Interview

Recruiter reached out to me. Had two interviews, about 1/2 hour each. Seemed very unorganized, was unable to get a clear answer on some items and sounded like there would be more interviews involved. They need a clearer understanding of what the jobs are and what they're expecting and who will be in charge. My rule is if there are more than 2 interviews (on occasion 3) I decline. Communication in general was sporadic and the process was not fully defined yet. I assume it wasn't offered to me as I have heard nothing one way or the other
