Their interview was the most amateurish I've ever witnessed. The hotel I turned up to to have the interview was as I found out was long time shut and a new chain had bought it and were doing it up for refurbishment and were not re-opening for another couple of weeks!!
So the muppets had just picked a hotel in Cardiff area and never checked it out. They left a message with a guy doing staff training in reception to go to another nearby hotel,
So I find it and when I got there, I asked at reception and they had not left a message there (idiots!!) As it turned out, I had actually walked passed the pair of them, as they were sat outside on the terrace, but as they were dressed as if they were out doing the shopping at Tesco's, I never thought for one moment they were there to conduct professional job interviews!!
By the time I actually had my interview, it was closer to 2 hours late thanks to the disorganised mess UK Parking Control had done with their interview and their choice of hotel and I had to go through the agency they had employed, so I had to ring them and they had to ring UK PC, for UK PC to ring me to find them in this other hotel!!!!!
It was possible the hottest day of the year in July and I'm all dressed up in my suit sweating like nobodies business and I wish in hindsight I had actually got back in my car and driven home.
