The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Ultra Group (Austin, TX) in May 2009
Interview
The whole process starts off with an HR representative calling you for an initial screen and an intial technical pre-screen. They describe what they do, what they are looking for for the position, then ask you your experiences, and then proceed to about 10 technical questions. Keep in mind this is an
hr guy asking you programming questions from a sheet of paper.
IF you get past the initial HR phase, then you come in for about 2-3 hours to have panel/group interviews. Usually each panel is a junior engineer, and a senior engineer or project manager. They will ask you more programming questions. They do want to see more how you handle yourself under pressure, rather than getting all answers right.
I would have to say that most people who got hired were either programming geniuses, had a long time friend there, or had some political connections in the industry. So if you don't get hired, don't take it personally. I personally had a long time friend there.
I applied online. I interviewed at Ultra Group (Tampa, FL)
Interview
First interview was with a recruiter and the second was with the hiring manager. These first two interviews were just going over my resume and experience. The third and final interview was with the team I'd be working on and was comprised of some easy technical questions.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ultra Group
Interview
Applied online and HR reached out a few days later. Had a phone interview with the hiring manager followed by a video interview a few days later with the hiring manager and a few engineers. Received an offer about a week later.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ultra Group (London, England) in Oct 2021
Interview
It was a quick process and very straightforward.
There was one phone interview followed by an assessment day.
During the assessment day we did a group exercise, tests and an interview. The interview had technical questions as well as behavioural questions and they were standard interview questions.
The interviewers were very nice and made me feel comfortable. The whole staff during the assessment day was kind and the process was very comfortable.
