Everyone I interacted with was kind, but the process itself was disappointing. I went through five rounds of interviews and completed a four-hour performance task. Throughout, I received multiple scheduling emails with shifting timelines, and delays were attributed to miscommunication and disorganization. I was told several times that I would receive an update on my candidacy “by the end of the week,” yet weeks have passed with no response. Candidates invest significant time and often take off work to participate in lengthy interview processes. At a minimum, respect for people’s time and effort should be shown through clear and timely communication.
