Interview
Very strange and very invasive. Asked me questions about my mental health and grilled me like it was an interrogation. I had to whiteboard ideas about a method to find true love. I was asked if I’d rather contribute to a “groundbreaking” project or attend my best friend’s wedding. Many red flags regarding their views on work-life balance, they even said something to the effect of the job would become my life. They basically berated me for not being smart enough for them. They were super aggressive, condescending, and honestly just really mean. I should’ve left mid-interview. I declined the offer because it was red flag central.

Interview
Starts with an online IQ Test, followed by an in-person case study in groups. IQ Test seems very arbitrary, case study was poorly constructed - they have a very specific, opinionated solution in mind for the case that doesn't make more objective sense than other viable solutions and just seems to cater to the founders' specific view on the case. I don't really see how their process is effective at finding good candidates. After passing the case study, I have a meeting with the CEO, where he proceeded to tell me that my prior data science experience was not "actual data science" and used that as justification to give me an offer severely under my market value.
