First round interview was conducted over the phone with in-house recruiter.
Recruiter seems well informed about the role and was able to describe the needs.
However the questions asked seemed very generic and cookie cutter. Almost as if they were derived from chatGPT. A few questions didn't even make sense.
Majority of the questions were cultural. The technical questions did not give me the opportunity to really showcase my skills. No resume or portfolio directed questions were asked.
Interviewer was friendly and on time. The overall process for application response, interview scheduling and unfortunately rejection was timely.
