I had 9 interviews, a 2-hour assignment, 1 in-person interview, and a lot of back and forth on negotiating. the recruiter was very nice and helpful. I was offered the job and accepted, they were going to send the offer letter, I was super excited, and then they changed from 2 days in person to 4 days in person. When I saw the strain that would have on my family I still agreed to the (no longer hybrid) job but asked if I could arrive 30 minutes after the original start time so I could drive my kid to school. They refused to be flexible with 30 minutes, of what would be my lunch, even though they added 2 more days in person. I was not comfortable accepting a job from a company that had NO flexibility. What a total bummer! I had so many plans for this position, and I would have loved it!
