I applied on Indeed on a Tuesday for a position with UpSwell and a few days later on a Friday received an email from an HR recruiter about an interview, they asked for my availability early the next week to have a video call about the position. When I replied with my availability, they ghosted me and never responded. I sent a follow-up the next week just in case my response in availability got lost in the chaos of emails that may have come in over the weekend, but still never got a reply back. I waited and tried to have a little hope that maybe something had come up and that would just get an email back eventually, and that at the time they just weren't in the office or able to check their emails, but then found them still to be posting on their personal LinkedIn page about the position. A little disappointed and let down to say the least, considering the job market is a hustle right now and I was feeling hopeful that I had all the right experience they were looking for. It made me ask myself, what does this say about them as a company, is it really somewhere I would want to work?
