I applied online. I interviewed at Urban Playground (Manchester, England) in Jul 2023
Interview
This was a two-hour group interview, comprising - a short icebreaker game - playing two of the games at Urban Playground Cube Experience - hosting one of the games for a fellow interviewee - interview question "speed dating" The interview itself was a good experience and all of the staff I spoke to were very friendly and professional. It was also fun trying out the games. What I appreciated the most about this process, though, was the excellent communication from Amber Rain, the assistant manager. She gave us a clear breakdown of the interview process ahead of time, which made me feel less anxious and helped me prepare. It also made me feel that my time was valued. She also fed back the hiring decision within 24 hours in a very professional and kind way. I didn't get the job, but I felt genuinely reassured that I had performed well and would be welcome to apply to them again. I really appreciated that, as not everyone puts that kind of thought into their communications.
