I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at UrbanCode (Cleveland, OH) in Nov 2012
Interview
Contacted by recruiter. Extremely simple mortgage calculator as initial test. Had a phone interview with head of development and simple coding test. Was flown to Cleveland for full day of interviews. Overall everyone was very nice. However, if you have decent experience or enjoy producing mission critical products, I recommend looking somewhere else. Low compensation with little willingness to negotiate.

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at UrbanCode (Cleveland, OH) in May 2015
Interview
A phone call interview first than coding exercise. At the very beginning, the HR set a time for a phone-call interview to talk about my experience in software development and any related information. As a international student, he asked if I need or not sponsorship. They will not provide sponsorship for entry level developer position. Then we set a time for coding exercise, which is an online, paired programming exercise. HR describe a problem, you will try so solve the problem use whatever languages you like.
