      Systems Engineer Interview

      Aug 20, 2019
      Anonymous employee
      Columbia, SC
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at VC3 (Columbia, SC)

      Interview

The interview was exactly what you'd expect for a systems engineer role. There was a phone interview which is more of a "get to know you" interview followed by a technical interview to get a feel for where you are.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

What would you do in a situation dealing with a high priority issue which you had no one to escalate to?

      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at VC3 in Sep 2024

      Interview

Did one call with the HR department and two technical calls, the technical calls were around 45m long and had around 6 people in them. After that I didn't even get a simple email telling me whether I got it or not. Wouldn't expect any good level of professionalism or courtesy from these people.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Some 'what would you do' kind of questions meant to evaluate customer service
