      The company really needs to do better screening at the beginning of the interview process to make it clear what skills and experience are required in a role. I went through three different interviews and a take home assignment before two skills, that I had made clear from the beginning I did not have experience in, became a significant factor in not moving forward. Everyone I spoke to was lovely, and I fully understand that this wasn’t intentional, but my application should not have proceeded from the resume review and initial call. I felt that my time was thoroughly wasted due to a lack of communication and team members at different stages not being aligned. This company is doing really interesting things and seems like a fantastic place to work, so hopefully their hiring process can be improved in the future!
