I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at VMLY&R COMMERCE (Chicago, IL) in Nov 2011
Interview
Rather long. Interviewed with 3 people from the department and 1 person who had nothing to do with the department or the business I was working on. Took about 2 months for them to come back to me and offer me a freelance position. I managed to turn it into full time
Good process and enjoyable. Lots of care and attention taken to give candidates a chance to shine. Seemed genuinely meritocratic and open. Nice people with decent values. Would recommend to other candidates.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at VMLY&R COMMERCE
Interview
I saw the posting on Indeed and LinkedIn. My experience was spot on for the position and I felt very confident as I went through three phone calls and an in-person visit. Perhaps I was the first to interview, but the process took over a month and about two weeks of follow-ups waiting on their decision.
Sadly, I am here to leave a review much like the ones I had read, where the HR DOES NOT REACH OUT TO THE CANDIDATE. You should never place your chances on one job but after consistent communication and even the HR rep promising to reach out either way when a decision is made, they left me in radio silence (for another two weeks). I didn't even bother reaching out again, I got the hint..
