I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Valero (Austin, TX) in Feb 2019
Interview
Only one round of interviews held on campus. It was basic behavioral questions. The interviewer asked me to go through my resume, and would ask me questions during. She took note of what I was saying and wrote them down next to the related experiences on my resume.

Question 1
Have you ever failed a test/ did bad in a class? What did you do? (trying to see how you react when things don't go your way)
Very enjoyable, the questions were light and seemed to be more about how I meshed with the people and worked. Had the chance to meet with the interviewers the night before and got some of the initial info out of the way.

Question 1
So what made you decide to make this change and want to come to Valero?
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Valero (Norman, OK) in Feb 2019
Interview
Disorganized. It was very drawn out and the company took too long to get back to me. The interviewer was arrogant. I would not want to go through the interview process with this company again.
